Process Engineer

Main Responsibility:

1. Provide technical support to the manufacturing process development in NPI / improvement / sustaining in volume manufacturing environment.
2. Works cross functionally with projects, R&D, manufacturing (including suppliers) and quality to develop processes for new products and improve processes for existing products.
3. Employing best manufacturing practice, challenging the norms to find different and better solution, and to ensure manufacturing capabilities and capacities are available to support production build plan in certain process.
4. Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and overall cost reduction in certain process.
5. Process improvement activities; cycle time, cost reduction, capacity, process optimization, defect improvement, process matching, etc. and process issue trouble shooting.
6. Additional task and responsibilities as needed to fulfill department objectives.
7. Key challenges are to meet set targets on quality, cost, productivity and competence in process development.

Main Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Micro electronics\electronics, automation, semiconductor packaging or material science.
2. At least 5+ years related experience die bonding, glue printing, scintillator ceramic cutting, scintillator manufacturing, glue dispensing, or vacuum potting process.
3. Data collection ability, defect analysis ability, problem detecting ability
4. Team oriented with strong focus on effective team working and multi-tasking capabilities.
5. Able to troubleshoot problem independently.
6. Able to use SPC, FMEA, DOE, 6Sigma or other quality control tools to develop processes, CTQ etc. and set up volume production capability with control and metrics. 
7. Take initiative, plan activities and projects with accountability to accomplish tasks to meet timeline.
8. Semiconductor industries or related manufacturing knowledge is highly desirable.
9. Ability to work under pressure and independently to meet timeline.
