Key Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

• Independently carry out efficient synthesis, purification and characterization of drug candidates for target validation, hit-to-lead and lead optimization projects.

• Participate in the experimental plan under the supervision of senior members and assist in preparation of project reports, including final procedures and compiling all analytical data.

• Performs routine analytical procedures necessary (NMR, LCMS etc.) to support development activities.

• Manage and operate lab equipment; Maintains laboratory records in compliance with internal policy.

• Work with internal and external teams to accelerate the project development.

Minimum Requirements

• M.S. in chemistry or related discipline, with industry experience preferred.

• Strong background and experience in organic chemistry (methodology, catalysis, total synthesis etc) is required, along with a proven track record.

• Demonstrated proficiency in basic laboratory skills (including NMR, LCMS etc) and familiar with Chemistry/Office applications (Chemoffice, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Good problem solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with members of the research teams in a dynamic and highly collaborative environment.
