What you’ll do
1. Product & Market Expertise
? Maintain up to date detailed knowledge of the product/solution/services. Be able to present and
discuss the technology and benefits in terms which are relevant to customers.
? Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge related to the product/solutions/services.
? Develop the understanding of the customer’s changing application and operational issues and
challenges. Be able to run demo experiments and on-site training independently and provide advanced trouble shooting to customers.
? Create viable product configurations which meet customer needs effectively, while achieving optimum
margin for Cytiva.
? Differentiate assigned product offering during the various stages of the sales process, effectively using
Cytiva resources and approved product marketing and product promotion materials to actively support the
customer through their decision making process towards a successful outcome for Cytiva.
? Represent the company at relevant industry conferences and technical exhibitions to promote
product/solution and company.
2. Opportunity management
? Identify and create new opportunities and work with sales and account teams (where applicable)
to continuously increase prospect funnel.
? Ownership of order and configuration quality at the point of entry to ensure accuracy, configuration
integrity and that all requirements are tied to documented customer inputs.
3. Territory & Account Management
? Create territory/account plans including opportunity development, competitive strategies and targets.
? Build strong business relationships and formulate account relationship plans within the assigned
account/territory. Identify & respond to key account technical and departmental decision makers’ needs.
? Maintain a network of key opinion leaders within the assigned territory.
? Track and communicate market trends to/from the field including competitor data and develop effective
counterstrategies.
4. Financial Performance
? Is accountable to achieve Product/Solutions/Service orders and sales OP target for assigned account/territory.
? Forecast orders and sales within the applicable sales funnel tools and reports for the products/solutions/services in the assigned territory/account.
5. Compliance
? Adhere to and uphold highest standards of compliance to relevant international and local regulatory.
? Adhere to all applicable Cytiva and Cytiva compliance policies, codes and training requirements.
? Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

Who you are
6. Master’s or PHD Degree of Medical/Pathology/Bioscience or minimum 2 years of technical support/selling experience in a life science (Multiplexing/High Content Analysis(HCA)/2-D DIGE), biotech and medical/pathology field.
7. Ability to develop assay, read scientific articles and run experiments. Should have experience in and actively participate in all aspects of a development process and play a role, capable of lone working, but also able to work within cross-functional teams.
8. Multiplexing tissue imaging/HCA/2-D DIGE assay design, specification, characterization and analysis for use (primarily) in customer assay applications. Designing and completing appropriate test and characterization procedures.
9. Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions based technical support/sales approach. Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language as well as good command of English.
11. Ability to synthesize complex issues and communicate in simple messages.
12. Excellent presentation skills.
13. Excellent negotiation, organization & closing skills.
14. Able to travel.
