Client Analyst/客户技术支持工程师

 

Role and Responsibilities:

Rystad Energy is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Client Analyst (CA) responsible for providing technical and insight support to existing and prospective clients in China. The role will be based in Beijing as part of the wider APAC CA team.

The main responsibility will be to manage client relationships to ensure that clients obtain the utmost value from our products and services. We are looking for candidates with an analytical background and preferably with knowledge of the upstream oil and gas or broader energy industry. The successful candidate will need to be detail-oriented, have a passion for client engagement and client satisfaction, is an excellent communicator in both Mandarin and English, and enjoys working as part of a team. Candidates will work with some highly demanding clients and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. 

In this role, everyday tasks include:

• First-line support for client helpdesk (through phone and e-mail)
• Maintaining existing client relationships, assist with subscription contract renewal
  
• Engaging clients for training and query support
• Travelling to client sites for face-to-face training as well as providing web-based support
• Understanding and developing solutions to cater to clients’ workflows
• Working with the account managers on growth and retention
• Communicating internally with Sales, Research and Consulting teams
• Representing the firm and our products at internal and external events

Qualifications and Education Requirements / Preferred Skills:

Rystad Energy is seeking to hire ambitious and motivated candidates with strong academic or other proven track records. We seek candidates with the following qualities:

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration 
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred
• Min 5 years of relevant analytical or client servicing experience
• Fluent in Mandarin and English 
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
• Availability to travel
• Strong excel skills
• Individual must be organized, self-motivated and independent
• Highly desirable to have a working knowledge of the oil and gas/ broader energy industry
