Overview of the Position:

Lead the configuration and implementation of the supply chain for products relocation from China to Europe, by implementing the best local sources, and leading the implementation of the export processes of the supply chain. Work in close co-operation with all local functions involved in the relocation process and with the european organization.
Identify, evaluate, negotiate & configure supply across China, in order to reduce costs, maximize performance and mitigate risks.

Implement global supplier strategies policy and Manage global strategic sourcing factors between material costs, transportation costs, inventory carrying costs, taxes, tariffs and duty costs, supply and operation performance, supply and operation risks.
Improve supplier order lead time, stock level and on time delivery performance
Lead commercial term negotiations and contract management. Improve collaboration with key suppliers and promote their expertise in product development, logistics, engineering, and manufacturin

Main Tasks

Duties and Responsibilities:

v Communication with supplier for lead time pushing and tracking.

v Periodic evaluation on current suppliers. Effectively work with suppliers to understand their products, management, capacity etc. Ensure supplier’s capacity improvement according to the marketing demand.

v Invoice checking with suppliers.

v Theoretical shipment within ERP for sales contracts.

v Cooperation with warehouse for correctness and accuracy of stock and inventory control.

v Return parts coordination and handling.

v Other administration job under requests. Perform temporary task assigned by purchasing manager.

Authority

· Authority to act within the limits of the main tasks.

Requirement

Professional Skills & Experience:

· Minimum 5-year experience in sourcing strategy

· Engineering degree or equivalent, with good knowledge in mechanics and automation.

· Strong negotiation skill and supplier management skill

· Excellent communication skills, to be able to communicate across all levels of organization.

· High ability to lead, to motivate and to facilitate global working sessions.

· Good computer skills. Proficient in database management, MS office software.

· Good knowledge in quality management tools, value analysis, six sigma, design processes and project management a plus.

· Strong mechanical knowledge (machining, casting/forging, surface treatment, mechanical standards etc) is the must including control of raw materials and measuring devices.
