The Japanese translator is a skilled native speaker of Japanese. They are proactive professionals, passionate and creative, and able to work independently and collaboratively as a part of an international team. The Japanese translator has good technical skills and they are eager to gain new knowledge.

Working Hours: Full-time.

What You Will Do

• Translate, proofread and edit localized content, ensuring cultural appropriateness;
• Find and fix linguistic and content errors;
• Report linguistic and functional errors;
• Research and verify content accuracy.

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Strong, native-level skills in Japanese, with exceptional attention to detail;
• Bachelor Degree or higher, preferably with IELTS 7.5 or above;
• Basic understanding of software development, background or studies in a technical / IT field is a plus;
• Ability to acquire new technical skills, tools and procedures;
• Professional proficiency in English (verbal and written);
• Subject matter expertise for linguistic issues in the target language, ability to research and resolve linguistic question;
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement plans;
• Ability to work as a positive contributor in a multicultural team;
• Project Manager experience is a plus;
• Knowledge and experience with Mac/iOS products;

• Can work onsite in Beijing office or remotely anywhere in the APAC time zone;

• Onsite candidates must have valid work authorization in China.
