Product Manager Job Description

General Summary:

Vrenetic is looking to expand the ways for people to perceive the world by remotely connecting them through seamless integration of surround capture cameras and light weight, easy to use VR lens. Founded and started by Roland Emmerich and Marco Weber in early 2017, we are ready to ignite our boosters and take our rocket to the next stage and reveal our product by the third quarter of this year.

To prepare for this, we are looking for a junior to mid level product manager who will be an integral part of our initial pre-launch team. We would like you to be someone who has either worked for a startup technology company, or understands the time frame and fluidity of situations at a startup to be able to thrive on the energy and flow. The general responsibilities would be to help define the product vision, gather and prioritize product and market requirements, manage and maintain product development schedules as prescribed, coordinate and working closely with various teams including the development team, marketing, sales and support to ensure successful product launch and rollout.

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Work closely with company executives to achieve long-term and short-term operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans

? Communicate status of projects to executive team on a daily and weekly basis

? Analyze project team efficiency and proactively manage changes in company priorities, identify issues and mitigate risks

? Collate and manage expansion of all product development programs

? Manage the planning of timelines, scope and resources to execute product roadmaps

? Establish and ensure compliance with deadlines for all departments during the various stages of product development

? Perform competitor and market research to be fully aware of the multitude of current and emerging VR/XR and new technology players in the global market

? Perform QA/QC functions before each product and version release, conduct audits/review and report QC results to management

? Procure and source materials when necessary

? Develop and implement new programs and methodology as needed

? Negotiate favorable pricing and terms with vendors and partners as needed

? Must be self-sufficient and capable of making senior-level decisions without guidance of other executives

? Travel as needed

Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s Degree

? Minimum two years’ experience in a Product Manager or Project Manager role

? Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, successfully, and with strong attention to the details

? A keen, flexible and aggressive intellect with superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills

? Ability to communicate effectively and charismatically with team members and executives

? In-depth knowledge of mobile technologies, products and tools

? Working knowledge of technology supply chains, global sourcing, and software/hardware development cycles

? Flexible hours - some evening/night/weekend hours required typical for a startup company
