Job Title：IP Subsystem Design Engineer ( USB/DP/HDMI)

Description

    

· As a Subsystem Engineer in the Solutions Group at Synopsys, you will be responsible for developing various Subsystems for multiple protocols including USB, DP, HDMI etc. You will be interfacing with our Design Engineering team to collaborate on IP customizations, integration, verification, and implementation of IP Subsystems. You will analyze and resolve complex Subsystem usage/implementation issues and provide timely, accurate technical guidance to customers. You will have the ability take the Subsystem designs through the Front End ASIC Design Flow. You will have the capability to design and implement solutions to complex application problems independently with little guidance. In addition to the generation of the Subsystem's associated documentation, you will also be responsible for authoring application-notes and/or white-papers that promote the Subsystem’s ease of use, or address specific challenges in its usage. You may be called upon to author technical papers and present them in peer-reviewed technical publications or conferences. You will have regular contact with external customers and internal contacts across cross-functional teams. Occasional travel maybe required.

    

?Qualifications:

    

· Strong interface protocol experience including the underlying various specification for USB, DP, HDMI, etc

    

· RTL Design Skills

    

· Lint, Clock domain crossing, Design For Test, and power domain rule checking

    

· Experience with RTL synthesis

    

· Experience with Static timing analysis

    

· Experience with Synolpsys EDA FE tools

    

· Scripting is various languages including TCL and Perl

    

?Requires a minimum of a BSEE (or equivalent) and 5 years of related experience
