SSQ is an award winning leading international legal search and recruitment consultancy with offices in London and 13 locations across Continental Europe, the Middle East and Asia. As part of our expansion internationally, we are looking to grow our team in China.

  

Our legal search team is the largest in the China market and we are now growing. We want to hire a Legal Search Consultant to join our Beijing office to service our first-tier law firm clients’ needs in executive legal search, legal recruitment and legal market consultancy.

  

We prefer native or near-native English speakers who can speak good Mandarin. He/she could be an expatriate who is currently living in or seriously planning to relocate to Beijing. Asian Chinese and westerners with great fluency in both English and Mandarin are welcome to apply. Some previous experience (1-5 years) working as a lawyer or generally in the legal profession is a big plus.

  

The role’s main responsibility is to work with our existing legal search consultants on our law firm and corporate clients’ lawyer hiring and market consultancy needs. That includes carrying out extensive research using our database/social media network/various search tools, building connections with lawyers, maintaining and developing client relationships and assisting clients sorting out their evolvement and development challenges.
