岗位职责:

Front line Gastroenterologist covers out patient clinic and in-patient care. Consult for Emergency Department and other department as well. Working closely with and being active assistant for FTE and PTE senior gastroenterologist. May need to escort patient to do outside referral procedures. Hospital wide GI consultation as needed, primary physician for GI oncology program implementation. Work closely and team work with hospitalists group for in patient care.

Responsibilities:

？ Assist senior gastroenterologist in caring for inpatients and outpatients setting.
？ Work closely and team work with the hospitalists group for inpatient care.
？ Frontline GI consults for emergency cases and hospital wide referrals and report to senior gastroenterologist as needed.
？ Take on call as assigned by department chair.
？ Escorting patients to do outside referral procedures to local hospitals and report to senior gastroenterologist
？ Participate in hospital wide medical and administrative activities assigned by section chief or department chair.

任职资格:

Qualifications:
? Minimum educational required: medical college graduate
? Minimum experience: at least 5 years clinical working experiences in Gastroenterology and hepatology

Skills:
？ Ability to organize and prioritize
？ Good communication skill in both English and Chinese
？ Attending or equivalent clinical experience and skills including GI endoscope
？ Be responsible and able to work independently at most of the time
Knowledge:

? Good clinical experience
? Comprehensive endoscope training
? Evidence based medicine
