As an Associate Designer, you will be part of the Power Grids (PG) Business and High Voltage Products (BU) Business Line, based in Beijing. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.

You will be a key member of the team in HV Breakers & Modules Product Groups/ High Voltage Products Business Line/ Power Grids Business in Beijing /China country/NAS region. Reporting to the {insert line manager}, you will create or modify the pre-engineered design of equipment, systems or installations by applying standard design concepts.

- Be responsible for checking technical agreement and make engineering design.
- Provide appropriate technical solutions for customer.
- Develop and improve product to or satisfying market requirement.
- Cooperate with Sales to introduce product to market.
- Be responsible for maintenance and managing technical document of product.
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

- Master’s Degree or above, major in Electrical Engineer or High Voltage Insulation Design.
- Familiar with HV Insulating, Design Principle and IEC / GB / DL standard.
- Be creative, attitude to problem solving.
- Willing to work under pressure, to assume responsibilities.
- Fluent in English.
