Join Lenovo and NetApp Joint Venture based in Beijing / Shanghai to build strong storage
products for China customers.
As Storage SW Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining
Storage software to provide customer simplified and localized products. You need to work with
NetApp engineers directly. You will integrate and develop third party and/or custom SW
packages, evaluate and test prevailing Storage software and technologies.
The good candidate needs to work with customers and help them successfully transform their
application work better with Cloud storage. Design and implement incremental features to
address customer needs.
Interact with customers for troubleshooting. Debug and drive complex product issues to closure
with true root cause and a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
You will also participate in developing software for products in cloud, virtualization, scale-out
environment, etc. to provide leading technology to address critical business challenges.   

任职要求：

1. BS or MS Engineering degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software
Engineering with 5+ years relevant experience.
2. Skills need to match some of below, more is better:
a. Storage – HA, NAS, iSCSI
b. Scripting & Languages - C/C++, Java, JSON, REST API, Web Socket and scripting
languages such as Python/shell
c. Networking – Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, LDAP, SNMP, RDMA
d. Virtualization – VMware, KVM, Xen
e. Containers – Docker, Kubernetes
3. SW Development tools – Git, agile development methodologies
4. Good understanding of common storage products and/or large-scale distributed system
design. Development experience on block storage, file storage and/or object storage.
5. Familiarity with OpenStack Swift, S3, Ceph, Database etc. is a strong plus.
6. Strong analytical ability and debugging skills. Ability to solve technical problems in areas
both familiar and unfamiliar. Specific troubleshooting skills with NetApp is preferred.
7. Ability to influence suppliers and manage technical activities at suppliers.
8. Highly self-motivated. Ability to learn new technology concepts quickly
