Job Responsibility:

1. Establish internal peptide drug discovery platform;

2. Responsible for the design, synthesis, purification and characterization of peptides to achieve optimized pharmacological, chemical and biophysical properties;

3. Integrate cutting-edge peptide chemistry and protein bio-conjugation technologies to the discovery of novel bio-therapeutics;

4. Identify and execute contract with appropriate CROs to support peptide drug discovery;

5. Effectively communicate project updates to project team and supervisors.

Qualifications:

1. BS/MS/PhD degrees in peptide chemistry or related field with minimum 2-3 years of experience in peptide synthesis, purification and characterizations;

2. Strong synthetic skills in peptide synthesis, peptide conjugation, semi-synthesis and protein modifications;

3. Some industrial and project management experience is preferred;

4. Good research track record in the field of peptide chemistry/protein modifications;

5. General knowledge about disease biology including cancer, inflammation, metabolic disorders and blood-related disease.
