工作职责:

PURPOSE and SCOPE OF THE JOB

This position will be responsible for the general healthy operation of all IT related issues in the office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily IT related issues arising within the office, including:-

Monitoring server(s) with respect to regular patch updates, disk and resource usage, anti-virus control and updates, bandwidth monitoring, regular backup of critical data, printer connectivity, renew/revoke email accounts;

2. Daily review and monitoring of the overall health of the network in the office, incident review, handling and resolution;

3. Daily user request and issues, including:-

Logging, response, and update of user’s request into the global ticketing system, such as inability to print documents, photos etc, virus/malware/spyware issues, inability to open files/folders, assistance on scanning documents and articles, general hardware issues;

4. Provide technical input/advice on other electrical equipment, including:-

Security systems, video camera systems, IP telephone system, attendance report systems;

5. Provide appropriate IT related advice/training to users, share knowledge to help others, and setup new users and manage backup, security and passwords;

6. Maintain good management records of all IT related equipment, and inform the IT Manager, when and what to "replace", in a timely manner;

6. Timely reporting to the IT Manager on any critical issues, which may affect the overall IT operation in the office;

7. To perform ad hoc projects as required.

Skill and expertise required:

Good technical skill in Windows, and Mac operating systems

Good working experience with MS Office

Good working knowledge with Linux and Cloud applications

Ability to work within a geographically diverse team

Have good problem solving skills
