FLIR Integrated Imaging Solutions (IIS), a division of FLIR systems, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of machine vision digital cameras. We are looking for a customer-centric Territory Account Manager who is passionate about technology and how it solves customer problems. The successful candidate will be looking to accelerate their sales career by managing and growing the China territory. Detailed Description:
- Actively manage accounts to foster existing relationships, ensure customer needs are met, and follow up with account enquiries
- Assist with qualifying the business opportunity, including understanding the volume of business and the customer background
- Fully understand the volume, expectations, specifications, and timeline of the opportunity
- Explore new customer and new business in the territory
- Manage customer expectations regarding specific deliverables
- Work with the Customer and Distributors and Internal Review Teams is to the Create and Functional Specifications for Recommended Solutions
- Work with the entire sales team to sustain relationships with key prospects, with the aim of achieving strategic sales goals
- Present customer opportunities and technical requirements to the management team
- Travel to visit customers, attend trade shows, and develop new business with distributor
- Assist with product demonstrations and sales presentations
- Provide technical training for customer employees
- Provide technical guidance to sales personnel
Requirements:
- Post-secondary diploma or degree (Engineering or Business preferred). A strong technical background is preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in a B2B sales role with an OEM
- Good customer communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on responding promptly and meeting commitments made to customers
- Excellent level of detail and ability to multitask and handle stress
- Strong work ethic with positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new things
- Team player who can also work alone with minimal supervision
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Good presentation skills
- Good verbal and written communication skill in Chinese and English is a must
- Ability to travel frequently in China and overseas if required
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Knowledge of the uses and technical capabilities of industrial digital cameras and/or experience in the Machine Vision Industry is an asset
- Familiarity with hardware based sales and the Electronics, Manufacturing, or Robotics industries
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- SAP user is an asset
