Position: Scouting & Project Management

Division/Department: R&D Technology Asia/Group R&D

Location: Beijing

Your Responsibilities:

• Framing research in automotive and non-automotive related technology fields, e.g. sensors and displays

• Report on automotive and non-automotive related technology fields, e.g. display and sensor technology on a regular basis within the Group Innovation Network

• Expand research network in China (Universities, Start-up)

• Scouting news of technology in China

• Responsible to manage research projects. Includes Controlling of the ongoing research projects, budget check and negotiation with clients

Our Requirements:

Necessary education:

• Ph.D. Automotive Engineering, Ph.D. Electrical Engineering, Ph.D Physics, Ph.D Material Science

Personal skills:

• Teamwork skills, problem solving and creativity to build up the research scope sensors and displays in China for Volkswagen

Working experience (in years):

• 1-3 years experience within automotive industry, especially with Volkswagen is preferred

• Experience in project management

Remarks (Language, IT Knowledge, Certificates etc.):

• Languages: fluent in English and Chinese, German is a plus
