Responsibilities:

1. Job focus is providing automation to semiconductor factory equipment;

2. Characterizing factory equipment;

3. Document development activities such as tool characterization, design notes, and customer requirements;

4. Modifying equipment hardware;

5. Developing, testing and deploying automation software;

6. Providing support of delivered automation software;

7. Documentation and project planning;

8. Carry rotational duty pager;

9. Utilizes object-oriented programming skills to write modular, sustainable code;

10. Ability to compare log file contents to source code flow to determine root causes of failures;

11. Develops code modules within a predefined frame work (top level vs. override)for automation processes;

12. Conductsand attends code reviews of new code to help maintain and preserve established coding practices; 

13. Develop utilities and scripts to automate the sustaining and reporting processes. 

Requirements: 

1. Bachelor degree or above in computer science, computer engineering or similar experience equivalent to that.

2. Familiar with C# , Sqlserver and Python.

3. Working experience with SECS/GEM Communications, EAP, Automation Project is plus;

4. Experience with UNIX, and Windows operating systems;

5. Excellent inter personal skills to work effectively with our internal customer Manufacturing, Engineering and Equipment teams;

6. Test-Driven development methodology.
