Summary of the role:

The Supply Chain Manager will report to Commercial Operation Director, under the function of Supply Chain Management. This position needs closely work with Service Center department to manage the local supply chain of Service Center and also lead the management of other indirect cost suppliers of IMI SS China. This position shall be experienced professional and functional expert. The position is open to candidates based in Beijing.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

Provide functional expertise to lead the development & implementation of supply chain in IMI SS China, mainly for the Service Center but also need to coordinate among other IMI SS operations for example manufacturing JVs.

Build and develop supply chain system such as process & procedures, resource organization and define norms for logistics and internal physical stocks to improve efficiency in logistics and smooth operation to achieve business target.

Manage the supplier according to global norm and standard, including but not limited to supplier qualification, assessment, audit, and periodically review per global supply chain management requirement.

Work with Service Center department on optimization of safety stock targets agreed with the business and manage inventory in line with agreed upon targets.

Work with Project Management function to select the most cost effective carriers for China while meeting the service levels and safety requirements required by the business and our customers

Work with EHS function for supplier's audit on Responsible Business.

Take lead on cost reduction initiatives for all direct or indirect purchases and vendor management.

Ensure compliance to all local and international transport regulations.

Qualification requirement:

Bachelor degree in relevant disciplines

At least 3 years working experience in sourcing or supply chain management positions in MNC, preferably in instrumentation or mechanical industry

Deep understanding of supply chain management and business practice in China

Good knowledge of PRC regulatory requirements and systems

Ability to work independently and Fluent in English and Mandarin
