Position: New Digital Business & Mobility Services
Division/Department: ?KODA China / New Digital Business & Mobility Services
Location: Beijing
Main goals and objectives:
- The mission of this position is to ensure the digital transformation of the brand ?KODA in China and to develop the brand's leadership in the area of digitization and mobility services.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and build-up the Digital Strategy for the ?KODA brand in China as part of the ?KODA China Strategy 2025.
- Develop and steer the digital agenda and mobility solutions for ?KODA China and align with relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for analyzing and evaluating national & international developments / trends within the new digital business and derive relevant fields of action for ?KODA China.
- Steering and managing of the activities for scouting and ideation for new business opportunities for ?KODA.
- Responsible for building up the ?KODA Auto DigiLab China in Beijing to develop and pilot new digital business ideas for ?KODA in China and worldwide.
- Responsible for development, piloting and management of New Digital Business initiatives and mobility services for ?KODA China. Prioritize and decide new business models in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Responsible to involve the brand ?KODA in all relevant group activities in China in the area of mobility services and digitization.
- Responsible for ?KODA China Connectivity Roadmap related to new digital business & mobility services and alignment with involved stakeholders to ensure feasible implementation. Develop related product request if applicable.
- Responsible for strategic papers and presentations for (top) management decisions, committees and workshops related to new digital business and mobility services and develop recommendations on key strategic decisions.
- Support ?KODA branding activities and ensure consideration in all digital and mobility services initiatives.
- Support VW Group transformation from an automotive OEM to a leading mobility provider.
- Steering and supervising the management and progress of multiple projects within the constraints of scope, quality, time and costs to meet project requirements and expectations.
- Providing timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders, holding regular cross organizational briefings and supporting the decision making process.
- University degree with major in business management, marketing, finance, research or engineering
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial spirit with a sense for innovation and passion for trends
- Strong team leadership skill
- Decision making competence and readiness to accept responsibility, focusing on quality in every sector of operations
- Strategic & analytical thinking
- Creativity and out-of-the-box thinking
- Stress resistant
- Strong inter-personal, communication & negotiation skills, persuasive appearance, especially with JVs
- Excellent, persuasive Chinese and English communication skills, German skills advantageous
- Minimum 15 years working experience
- 10+ years of professional experience in experience in tech, mobile or digital service environment
- Experience in innovation management or development of new services / startup experience
- Technology knowledge (Application and platform development)
- Needs to have a broad and profound understanding of the cross-functional business and its interdependencies in order to connect-the-dots and develop cross-functionally balanced business strategies
- Experience of corporate and startup environment (sales, marketing or product development)
- High affinity for Chinese market
