POSITION SUMMARY:

    

    

Working closely with a senior certification support specialist and another certification specialist in IMA Beijing office, the Certification Specialist is primarily responsible for assisting in the review of CMA candidates’ work experience and education documentation per ICMA policies and procedures and mailing certifications to certified candidates, as well as assisting with the Chinese CMA grading. The Certification Specialist should be customer-oriented and be a team player. Attention to detail is extremely important.

    

    

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    

    

• Work closely with ICMA team to achieve the strategic goals in the region.

    

• Assist review of CMA candidates’ education and work experience documentations and prepare a weekly summary list sent to ICMA HQ.
• Review certification lists from ICMA HQ, wrap certificates, collect certified CMAs’ mailing addresses and contact information, as well as mail out certificates to CMAs timely.
• Work closely with ICMA team to assist Chinese CMA grading, such as scheduling graders, paper processing, assist in invoice generation, verify no show list, and providing other support during grading.
• Provide high-quality service for Chinese IMA members including answering their inquiries about how to prepare and submit education and work experience documentations, track CMAs’ certificates delivery status, and other needs.
• Perform students’ status audit periodically, collect award winners’ information after each test window, and send various types of reminders to CMA candidates timely.
• Support IMA Beijing team as needed.
• Work closely with ICMA HQ team by consistently attending scheduled conference calls.

    

    

    

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    

    

• Bachelor’s degree

    

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English
• Strong skills in standard office applications software, including Word and Excel
• Strong customer and results orientation
• Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

    

• Ability to handle shifting priorities

    

• Ability to be an effective team member
