Bing News team is looking for a strong User Experience (UX) Developer to develop innovative online news product that changes the life of billions of people around the world. Bing News is a critical part of Bing, a world-class search engine that retrieves the most relevant results for users from billions of documents in a matter of milliseconds. Bing News provides news search and recommendation services to end users as well as strategic partners inside and outside Microsoft.

The responsibilities of the position include:

Collaborating effectively with a talented cross-discipline team to deliver delightful user experiences

Owning the design, implementation, and maintenance of interactive Web features

Mentoring junior developers and growing their technical skills

Driving change to make the development environment faster and more efficient



What we’re looking for

Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Computer Science or an equivalent

3+ years professional experience as a Frontend web developer including proficiency with C#, Java or an equivalent OO language

1+ years of writing and shipping production-quality front-end software professionally for Web, Desktop, or Mobile

Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment and to learn new frameworks and stacks

Strong verbal, visual and written communication skills

Strong troubleshooting, analysis and organizational skills

Outstanding collaboration ability

Experience with ASP.NET MVC experience is a plus

Experience with Search Technology is a plus

Experience with iOS or Android is a plus
