JOB STATEMENT

The Project Manager has responsibility over the project, after the handover is made from the sales department, to the project is handed over to the Waste Recycling customers. The project manager must ensure that the project is delivered to the customer according to the business case and coordinate the final installation/commissioning. The job requires experience and profoundness in cooperation and completion of complex project calculation follow-ups.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in addition job statement)

? The PM must take full ownership of the following duties and responsibilities.

? Be a part of the initial sales phase and give input, according to the tender material provided.

? Approve the business case, developed in sales.

? Create the project in SAP and maintain this, through the active project period.

? Communicate with sales, designers, electrical engineers and the customer to ensure the optimal solution for all in the project.

? Generate SAP partlists for the project.

? Schedule with purchasing and planning, ensuring on time delivery.

? Should have knowledge on the electrical part in a project, being able to understand and process information.

? Designing offer layouts in Autodesk Inventor, for the Chinese Sales team.

? Quality control the equipment prior to shipment.

? Develop new ideas in relation to the area, that the project manager is working in.

? Is active participating in weekly project meetings, in relation to the active projects and status on KPI’s.

? Is following all procedures and instructions in own department.

? Can lead large and complex projects in a cross -functional environment.

? Will have to accept some travelling both to customers in CN and also to the main office in DK to receive PM training.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

To succesfully take on the duties of the project manager role, the following qualifications should be met.

? 2-5 years experience in working with technical projects in the industry segment.

? An education as a mechanical engineer or similar.

? Experienced in working in an international environment.

? Knowledge in working with SAP or similar ERP system.

? Knowledge in working with CAD programs, Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

? The ability to work up against a time schedule, where deadlines must be respected and deliver successful projects, in some periods under pressure.

? Has knowledge in contract management.

? The project manager is fluent in Chinese and English in writing and speaking.

? Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and IT in general.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

To succeed in this position, the PM needs to have several years of experience and a proven track record as a Technical Project Manager. It is important that the person are able to handle multiple projects at the same time and are flexible and can navigate in an often very dynamic environment.

It is a role where the PM will need to bring ability, ambition and develop own competencies and during the new buildup of the department in CN, support this. The person attending will have to be outgoing, possess good communication skills and must be able to stay focused on details, results and deadlines.

The PM we are looking for, has a strong background in a project department, where he has been working close together with sales, electrical engineers, designers and project managers. The PM has been working with contract management and is able to point out what is needed, to have a successful project.

The PM is fluent in Chinese, English, both in writing and speaking, so he can work internationally. This could be a person between 30 and 45 years, with a background as a mechanical engineer or a similar education.
