Job Function:
As key department of the company providing components and solutions for smart power network, the IC development team is committed to develop advanced SoC to replace existing discrete-component solutions. Now we are looking for talent with proven expertise in SoC architecture and design. The overall objective for this position is to lead the activities of mapping system level requirements to solid hardware specification, defining innovative architecture for smart meter SoC and participate in the design realization. The responsibilities include:
- Defining SoC architecture based on advanced micro controller core
- Establishing power management architecture including power states and transitions
- Analysis of pre-silicon and post-silicon performance, power across relevant use cases
- Evaluating key digital, mixed-signal or analog IPs and making sound decisions
- Contributing to development of SoC hardware, IP integration
Qualifications:
The candidate should have a good first degree from an established university with specialization in front-end logic design, specializing in the modeling and verification of simple embedded systems and/or microcontroller systems, using standard cell ASIC methodology with industry standard logic synthesis tools, logic simulators and verification tools. The candidate should have successful experience in design or architecture of ARM Cortex-M based SoC. A working proficiency in spoken and written English will be a plus because we work with well-known multi-nationals as partners.
