Job Description
ETAS is a strongly growing company in China and foresees corresponding growth in the organizational structure. In China, ETAS is currently represented in 6 locations (HQ Shanghai, Changchun, Beijing, Wuhan, Chongqing, Guangzhou). The company is mainly active in the automotive embedded systems development and actively develops new business opportunities with existing and new customers.
The holder of the position is mainly responsible for business development of test validation for model-/software and hardware in loop solution. The secondary responsibility is to promote ETAS total solution to customers.
Excellent cooperation with the sales department as well as regional program manager and global product management and marketing is a prerequisite for success.
The duties are including but not limited to the following:
● Be responsible for business acquisition for ETAS test and validation Solution for booking throughout seamless cooperation with KAM and Project manager. The task includes but not subjected to:
- Create leads with the assistance of KAMs.
- Develop proactively to acquire projects with competitive technique proposal according to aligned acquisition strategy with KAM.
- Prepare the project costing and offer review for KAM to quote or bid.
● Reflect market voice and trends to regional AF manager as input for test and validation strategy deployment:
- Analyzing market potential (political, economic, social, technological and competition).
- Understanding customer requirements and use cases.
- Develop promotion strategy by positioning customer and develop pilot customer.
● Actively educate the sales force and jointly develop new acquisition targets.
Qualifications
● B.S degree in engineering of automotive, electronics or control engineering.
● At least 6+ years working experience in the automotive industry, experience in automotive control engineering, especially in new energy vehicle area including VCU, MCU, BMS or Fuel cell and ADAS as a plus.
● Demonstrated strong business development capability with rich experience.
● Demonstrated strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
● Excellent achievement record in business acquisition.
● Good at fast learning.
● Fluent English in talking and writing.
● Frequent (over 80% of working time) domestic and occasional international business trips are expected.
● Work experience in COEMs or international for test and validation area as plus.
