OVERVIEW

• Reporting into Engineering Leads

• Take ownership of primary Siemens Teamcenter PLM implementation across our multinational Engineering organisation.

• Lead PLM data conversion efforts – foster a culture of change during the transition.

• Maintain, control and manage data within the PLM system.

• Review and approve data input into the PLM system from previously defined engineering.

• Provide user support for issues within the PLM system.

• Develop and provide application training for PLM system.

• Support and transition Engineering Change process across to the PLM system.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and evolve Shark/Ninja PLM Engineering Data Control policy and procedures.

• Participate and take Subject Matter Expert ownership of cross-functional multinational Implementation Team. Building international process and goal alignment with peers. Manage SOP documentation for PDM / CAD related functions

• Key contact point with vendor, escalating and following up with issues with vendor and managing any change requests that require vendor involvement

• Part Librarian- Monitor incoming PLM Parts and Bills of Material data from previously approved sources (i.e., data entry) and ensure accuracy of defining documents and adherence to Shark/Ninja policy and procedures.

• Oversee data conversion activities for input of previously existing engineering Bills of Materials into the PLM system.

• Configure workflows, security roles / groups, and meta data fields

• Application User Support - for both functionality of the PLM system and transition of existing data to the system.

• PLM/Engineering Administrator Management and Support - mentor and develop the PLM user group and Engineering Administrator.

• Training - develop and teach both remote and onsite training curriculum for PLM system at all Ninja Engineering offices as needed. Some travel may be required. Pro-actively identify and leverage opportunities to expand PDM / PLM in the organization

• Eight (8) years minimum experience in an in-house leadership role with Siemens Teamcenter PDM or PLM system in a CREO CAD environment.

• Able to work effectively and input previous experience into documentation, numbering systems, terms, acronyms, filing systems.

• Candidate should be highly motivated and comfortable working with minimal supervision.

• Experience in data transfer between PLM and ERP systems would be favourable.

• Must have basic knowledge of CREO functionality in order to open, print, and close files as necessary.

• Experience in the Home Appliance industry would be favourable.

• Must possess good oral, written, and organizational skills, and be able to speak, read, and understand the English language at a highly functional level.
