With a view into over 20 billion streaming hours and more than 3 billion devices a year from 180 countries, Conviva has the largest, multi-publisher, global OTT streaming video continuous measurement census available. We see almost 60% of the Internet population and measure 7 out of the top 10 SVOD providers in the US, as well as many other global OTT providers. Our customers use our continuous measurement sensor and Video AI Platform cloud service to gain a real-time, unified view of their video delivery ecosystem and consumer viewing experience across all their devices and video applications.

We are looking for an exceptional engineering role at a with a proven record of delivering consistently in high growth and high scale environment. This role is expected to play a vital role in supporting high growth business, drive innovation and deliver the next generation of highly scalable, modular and extensibleBig Data Platform technologies. These technologies are the foundation technologies and provide a common set of capabilities and interfaces to all Conviva products supporting real-time, near real-time and off-line analytics with an eye on the future. The next generation of Big Data Platform will support a multitude of existing and emerging technologies and enable different use cases. It will build a level of abstraction needed by different product engineering teams to build business functionalities in an extensible fashion without requiring understanding the underlying complexity.

What you get to do:

?Build big data processing systems for live streaming and/or off-line processing

?Solve engineering challenges in managing real-time processing of big data with emphasis on reliability, scalability, flexibility

?Help design, build and launch a new product

What you bring to the role

?BS/MS/PhD in CS or equivalent

?Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms

?Knowledge of Design Principles, especially in Distributed Systems

?Expertise in Java (language, libraries, debugging) or similar (Scala, Go)

?Expertise in Spark

?Experience with server testing and debugging methodologies

?4+ years of experience as a software engineer developing core product code

?Strong desire to work in a rapidly growing company and make it a success

Preferred Qualifications

?Experience building real-time systems at high scale

?Experience building massively scalable data infrastructure using commercial and open-source tools

?Experience with Big Data Systems (such as Hadoop or Spark)

?Experience designing Spark-based applications

4.熟悉开源分布式系统，对Hadoop/Hive/Flink/HBase/Druid中的某项或多项有深入了解;

5.完整搭建过数据平台和数据产品，有处理实时大数据和解决大规模并发请求经验;有后端系统运维经验;

6.具有丰富的数据处理经验，对数据处理、数据清洗，数据建模、数据分析等有深刻认识和实战经验;

7.有数据挖掘、机器学习、自然语言处理等领域的理论基础和算法实现和优化经验者优先;

8.清晰的逻辑分析和表达能力，热爱技术，乐于分享，对行业和技术的发展有独立与深刻的理解;

9.良好的团队精神和合作意识，责任心强，对工作有激情，良好的沟通能;

10.良好的英文读写和口头表达水平；
