JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Based in Beijing, within the Customer Service group, the primary task of the Customer Service Representative, Demo Logistics (Beijing) is to ensure a liaison between the internal/external customers and the Chinese-market, instrument demo service. The demo instruments being an important marketing tool, the Customer Service Representative, Demo Logistics (Beijing) will also be required to work in close collaboration with the sales force, participating in maintaining excellent customer service.
More particularly, the Customer Service Representative, Demo Logistics (Beijing) coordinates and plans the loans of instruments for the sales force, as well as for our customers. In addition to ensuring the quality of the shipments by following up on the calibration and repairs of the instruments, the Customer Service Representative, Demo Logistics (Beijing) analyses and makes recommendations to optimize the flow of inventory.
Occasionally, the Customer Service Representative, Demo Logistics (Beijing) is also required to help or replace the co-workers responsible for the Chinese and APAC clientele-with regards to the repairs management and acts as service coordinator.
When required, the Customer Service Representative, Demo Logistics (Beijing) also performs other work-related tasks.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Technical background in Optics, Telecom or Electronics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of SAP (an asset)
NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Extremely customer-oriented
- Methodical and organized
- Responsible
- Positive attitude, enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Self-sufficient and ability to multitask
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: College diploma in administration or any other diploma related to this position.
- Work experience: Five years at least.
- Languages: Bilingual Mandarin/English essential.
