About the Apex-Brasil Representative Office – Beijing
The Apex-Brasil Representative Office in Beijing independently represents the Apex-Brasil mission that is divided into three parts, promoting Brazilian exports, attracting foreign direct investment and supporting Brazilian companies to engage in their internationalization process.
The Representative Office in Beijing carries out several commercial promotion initiatives, such as commercial and prospective missions, business rounds, support to the participation of Brazilian companies in major business fairs, and visits of foreign buyers and opinion formers to assess the Brazilian productive structure, among other business platforms aimed to strengthen the Brazil brand and set Brazilian companies up for success.

Scope of Work:
Responsible for the implementation of Apex-Brasil business affairs’ agenda in Asia, specifically those referring to the process of commercial promotion and internationalizing of Brazilian agribusiness in the Chinese market.
Develop relationships and mobilize discussion with public opinion, industry leaders, sectorial and foreign trade associations, NGOs, media, and other actors interested in Brazilian agribusiness.
Collaborate with the C.O.O. to plan and execute strategies to efficiently position Brazilian agribusiness for the public and other local stakeholders.
Monitor both the regulatory situation and agroindustry across relevant sectors; animal protein, ethanol, sugar, vegetable grains and oils, and consult the C.O.O. on the impact the current and prospective laws have on the access to Brazilian products on the Chinese market.
Foster close relationships with governmental agencies, public services, and other regulatory authorities, sectorial and commercial associations, NGOs, media, and others related peoples.
Guide and support the execution of strategies for Asia Brazil Agro Alliance projects through meetings with the sectoral associations involved and departments of the headquarters, and through dialogue with businesses and partners.
Manage contracts related to the Asia Brazil Agro Alliance projects.
Produce critical analyses and recommendations on the perception of the market, themes, and stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
Bachelor′s degree in public affairs, international business, foreign trade, management, law, languages, engineering, economics, agriculture and food sciences or related professions.
At least 8 years of work experience in related fields.
Relevant experience in government affairs, public relations, business development and facilitation, agriculture and food business and/or trade policy.
Experience in the animal protein, sugar-ethanol and grains sectors.
Managerial and/or executive director experience.
Languages
Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and Oral).

Written Exam
Candidates will be asked to take a 90 minute exam comprised of 2 questions, to be written in 2 separate languages (one response in English, one response in Mandarin), and will be given a maximum of 20 lines for each answer.
Content to be covered:
1. International Trade Analysis;
2. Agri-food world production and dynamics;
3. Policies, long term strategies and regulatory aspects of the Chinese agribusiness;
4. Public affairs skills: monitoring, stakeholders management, political marketing, organising and attending events.
Criteria for correcting and assessing written exams:
1. Technical and scientific knowledge of the material;
2. Attention to the theme suggested in the question;
3. Clarity of the arguments;
4. Creativity;
5. Appropriate use of language.
Each of the criteria noted above must be assessed with the following score system:
1. Does not understand: 0 point;
2. Partially understands: 1 point;
3. Demonstrates complete understanding: 3 points.
The minimum grade accepted to allow the candidate to progress to the next stage is 60% of the maximum possible written exam score.
Up to 10 candidates with the best Written Exam results will be selected to move forward to the Academic Formation and Work Experience Analysis.
If candidates obtain the same score, additional criteria will be considered:
1. Amount of time spent, if any, at another Apex-Brasil office;
2. Candidate’s field of expertise as it relates to the position;
3. Title rank held in previous work experience.

Academic Formation and Work Experience Analysis
The Academic Formation and Work Experience Analysis is determined by a point-base system, in addition to minimum requirements, which will be summed to the Written Exam results, as follows:
1. Bachelor’s degree: 1 additional point (per certificate additional);
2. Post-Graduate degree: 1 additional point (per certificate additional);
3. Master’s degree: 2 additional points (per certificate additional);
4. Doctorate degree: 3 additional points (per certificate additional);
5. Relevant work experience: 1 additional point per year of work (per year additional);
Up to 05 candidates with the best summed results (Written Exam result plus Academic Formation and Work Experience Analysis result) will be selected to move forward to the Interview.
If candidates obtain the same score, additional criteria will be considered:
1. Amount of time spent, if any, at another Apex-Brasil office;
2. Candidate’s field of expertise as it relates to the position;
2. Title rank held in previous work experience.

工作范围
负责亚洲地区APEXBRASIL商业事务议程的实施,特别是帮助巴西农业在中国市场上实行商业推广并推动其国际化进程。
负责与行业领导者,相关部委和外国贸易协会,非政府组织,媒体和其他对巴西农业感兴趣的企业发展关系并与其对相关农业方面的公众观点进行商议。
协助首席代表计划和执行相关策略,有效地向公众推广巴西农业并为其寻找当地的合作伙伴。

基本要求
教育背景和工作经验
本科学历,公共事务,国际经济,对外贸易,管理,法律,语言,工程,经济,农业及食品科学或相关专业。
至少8年相关工作经验。
在政府事务,公共关系,商业开发和促进,农业和食品业,贸易政策等方面有相关经验。
在动物蛋白,糖-乙醇和粮食行业有相关经验。
具有管理和/或执行经理工作经验。
语言
流利的中英文(读写)能力。

笔试
候选人将有90分钟考试时间完成2个考试问题,考试答案应使用2种不同语言填写。(一题用英语回答,另一题用中文回答),每题答案最多不超过20行。

3. 中国农业的政策、长期战略和监管
4. 公共事务技能:利益相关者监督与管理、政府公关、活动组织和参与
笔试考试评定标准:

5. 语言使用的正确性
上述每个评判标准必须按照下述得分标准进行计算:
1. 不理解:0分
2. 部分理解:1分
3. 基本完全理解:3分。
笔试成绩高于最高成绩的60%者可进入下一轮。
从笔试成绩中挑选前十名候选人并对其学历和工作经验进行分析。
如果候选人得分相同,将使用以下评判标准:
1. 曾在巴西出口投资促进局的其他代表处工作。
2. 候选人的专业领域与此职位相关。
