Position: APAC GL Manager
Location: Fortinet Beijing

Position Summary:
Manage the APAC day to day activities related to GL. Coordinate and take ownership of GL related activities for month/quarter/year end closing process across APAC and ensure all deadlines are met. Ensure a high level of compliance with US GAAP, SOX and local laws. Ongoing assessment of Internal control procedures and support the business needs across the functional areas.

Responsibility:
- Reporting to APAC Controller and supervising APAC GL team in China;
- Significant involvement in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and consolidation process for the APAC Subsidiaries and finalisation of each close and overall APAC consolidation process to the standards and timelines set;
- Co-ordinate activities and deliverables of outsource accountants across APAC and monitoring the service quality;
- Responsible for ensuring adequate completion and detailed review of all balance sheet accounts’ reconciliations on a monthly manner;
- Supporting HQ quarterly consolidation and SEC filing;
- Responsible for setting and maintaining a strong internal control environment across APAC. This involves ongoing testing, documentation assessment and implementing improvement of accounting processes and policies required across each APAC entity;
- Review journals and ensure the accuracy of account coding in Oracle;
- Ensure such company policies as fixed assets, T&E and marketing classification etc. are followed;
- Proactive interaction with Internal Audit team to assess, agree and implement value added internal control recommendations;
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, finance or related disciplines and chartered/certified accountant is a must;
- More than 10 years’ experience in full spectrum of accounting function, preferably with a US
multinational high-tech company;
- In-depth knowledge and experience in US GAAP
- Hands on experience in MS Office and computerized accounting systems.
- Experienced with Oracle is preferred.
- Several years of international / regional exposure;
- 3-5 years’ experience in a managerial role
- Strong communication skill and able to communicate with people at all levels;
- Fluent in both English and Chinese;
- Proven people management skills;
- A fast learner and team player and able to work independently and with tight timeline;
- High level of integrity and positive attitude;
- Hands on and detail oriented
