Objectives and responsibilities of the position

The Sales Manager is in charge of sales development for the portfolio entrusted to him/her in line with the comprehensive strategy of the event.
The Sales Manager may be required to work on several events and/or business sectors.
He/she is responsible for the event’s marketing and the business generated by sales. In so doing, he/she takes an active part in the development of events both in China and at international level.

RESPONSIBILITIES

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1- Marketing preparation
-Product/market/competition/customer and prospect portfolio analysis
-Making suggestions and recommendations for the development of the sales action plan
-Helping draft sales pitches in coordination with the HQ Marketing & Development Department and/or the Market Managers

2- Implementation of sales action plan/marketing phase
- Helping create and implement direct-marketing tools
- Creating prospecting campaigns, show visits
- Developing his/her prospecting database, adding new content and updates by CRM system.
- Prospecting and selling spaces and related products
- Developing the portfolio: loyalty-building, assistance and advising, improvement of ratios (average basket, transformation rate)
- Helping exhibitors set up
- Assisting exhibitors until the event, advising them on the organization of their participation, maintenance of customer relations
- Monitoring unpaid invoices and carrying out related follow-up

REPORTING
- Monitoring and reports on the progress of sales/forecasts by CRM system
- Evaluating sales actions
- Participating in the sales debriefing and analysis of the show’s performances: recommendations for the next show

Job Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree
-3 plus years' sales experience. The experience in the events/show industry will be a plus.
-Be fluent in French and English both written and spoken
-Good communication, presentation and negotiation skill
-Willing to travel as per business needs
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
