Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities
Process:
? Responsible for training study teams in regards to payment support and specific processes.
? Responsible for the organization and distribution of weekly and monthly payment reports to support payments to sites.
? Acts as liaison among colleagues within C&G and study teams to assist with issue resolution and/or guidance, as needed.
? When applicable, responsible for the population of country-specific visit templates in CTMS for applicable countries.
? When applicable, responsible for the population of site-specific visit schedules in CTMS for applicable countries.
? Ability to understand and analyze study-specific Total Contract Value (TCVC) and PO calculators utilizing CTMS, CTAs and interactions with CGAs, LTMs and SMs.
Technology:
? Create, maintain, and close-out site-specific purchase requisitions in the local systems, utilizing the study-specific PO calculator, CTAs and CTMS for applicable countries.
? Request and gain access to study-specific EDC system.
? Run monthly subject visit completion reports and enter data in to CTMS.
? Generate payments through CTMS, where applicable. Enter invoices upon receipt.
? Create and send payment notifications to sites.
? Answer queries, questions and issue resolution with sites and study teams, as needed.
? Rectify failed payments, as appropriate, for purchase requisitions.
? For the OUS, collect country-specific Financial Exhibits to populate visit templates in CTMS. Collect site-specific fully negotiated financial exhibits for all sites participating in each country to apply site-specific CTMS visit schedule.
? Maintain status in central global tracking spreadsheet.
People:
? Train new Contracts & Grants team members on specific processes and technology.
? May include people management responsibility, including performance and development. (Global team - virtual environment)
? Attract and develop talent to enhance the team's effectiveness.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Uncompromised requirements for the role):
(Include any required computer skills, certifications, licenses, languages, etc.)

? 3- 5 years experience and/or equivalent competencies in pharmaceutical industry/clinical research
? Must have a working knowledge of clinical payment processing and systems with at least 3 years of payment experience
? Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
? Ability to work effectively in cross function teams
? Strong and proven analytical and problem resolution skills
? Working knowledge of PCs (MS Office suite at a minimum)
? Fluency in English is required
? Must demonstrate innovative spirit, have strong interpersonal skills, and ability to accomplish substantial tasks with minimal supervision

? Follows standard Procurement policies and procedures for multiple departments, geographic areas, client groups or projects
? Work is performed with oversight by the Analyst, Payment Lead.
? Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
