Job Summary
This position serves as front line customer contact and liaison between our customers and internal departments in order to enhance customer satisfaction and provide high quality service. Plays a key role in meeting and exceeding our customer expectations, which ultimately will result in improved customer relations, increased customer loyalty and increased sales, thus resulting in Colorcon achieving its goal to be our customer's 'Supplier of Choice.' This position will have access to extremely confidential information; including customer account information, product applications, prices, purchase agreements and formulas.
Main Responsibilities
1.Maintain an accurate customer database and complete customer order profiles to ensure 100% error free order processing.
2.Prepare orders for processing by verifying previous purchase (or sample) and the correct pricing information.
3.Process orders in Oracle Order Management using customer order profiles.
4.Obtain carrier information on delivery service and cost to schedule expedited shipments.
5.Track shipments with freight carriers to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
6.Analyse Supplier Performance reports for accuracy.
7.Fulfil customer requests for Quality Assurance and Shipping documentation including: Certificates of Analysis, Material Safety Data Sheets, Certificates of Origin, and Packing Lists.
8.Coordinate customer requests for technical information and reference standards with Area Technical Managers.
9.Review orders on credit hold with Credit Analyst. Provide feedback to customers on order credit status.
10.Collect accurate information, research, respond and provide resolution to all customer inquiries including complaints, returns, pricing discrepancies, deductions and logistics issues.
11.Provide weekly Account Receivable updates to sales force.
12.Serve as back up for other Customer Service Coordinators.
13.Assist in process improvement teams/projects to automate manual processes, establish best practice and focus on high quality service levels.
Requirements:
1.Position requires a college above diploma (A.S. Degree in Business is preferred).
2.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel a must), have the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and be flexible.
3.Must possess excellent phone skills and communication skills.
