Auto leasing industry
Reporting to Head of Sales
Key Purposes of the Position
- Develop and implement marketing strategy & plan to ensure that AFC-CL adapts to changing customer requirements & behaviors, lead strategic improvements on customer engagement.
- Consistently develop and update product portfolio to sales strategy.
- Maximize the business opportunities by leveraging the external communication to customers and partners.
Key accountabilities of the function
- The Marketing Director is responsible for setting up Branding, Marketing and CRM strategy. Lead the team to develop, review and monitor the execution of the company’s Marketing, Product/Service Development, Customer Retention Strategy and make customer/dealer focused decisions.
- The function should consistently develop and update product portfolio to sales strategy; Identify potential opportunities by proactively leading market intelligence and evaluating the new products, new services, new distribution channels that will result in profitable growth for the company; Drive the development of all the leasing products & services and define the market positioning, pricing and communication strategy; Define and implement Sales Training to support business development.
- Utilizing marketing expertise, the function shall maximize the business opportunities by leveraging the external communication to customers and partners; Define & agree on targets with AK-1-CN to leverage PR channels to shape the perception of the auto leasing finance industry and The Company value proposition; Develop & maintain a strong & stable relationship with the external partners.
- Align & co-operate with other Group functions for synergy & integration. Develop and maintain a close working relationship with all entities to ensure marketing effectiveness & synergy. Ensure that The Company requirements are integrated into all entities marketing planning & product development activities; Align with the AG Group China digitalization framework, ensure the integration of the Company elements; Develop and maintain a close working relationship with senior members of the Sales & -
- Marketing management team of AFC to ensure powerful sales programs, marketing campaigns & marketing effectiveness & synergies; Ensure that AFC requirements are integrated into AFC-CL Marketing planning activities.
- Define & setup new function for further marketing development, including (1) Define and develop CRM function, Build a cross division, cross company & holistic CRM mechanism and system; (2) Define AFC-CL digitalization work scope.
- Propose, align and deliver on marketing plans and marketing budgets; Within the budget, lead the team to design, plan and execute direct marketing campaigns, offers and programs to maintain and increase customer loyalty. Manage the distribution channels and ensure the effective communications to both customers & dealers, including: company website, printings, advertisement; Influence media and online social networks to support overall reputation as well as sales targets. Use PR and public speaking opportunities to shape auto leasing industries perception, etc.
- Manage, develop and coach direct reports to achieve maximum team dynamics and harmony, whilst delivering the most effective and efficient services to individual business lines and external partners; Lead the team to optimize team and individual performance by developing efficient team structures and constantly challenging and developing associates. Act as a role model for the team, maintain dialogue with all team members and promote and support change within the team and wider business.
- Marketing director shall setup marketing and communication strategy from both corporate level and Product/service level. Since the Company is a new member of the Company group, the strategy of corporate level shall align with other entities in China and AG in HQ. From the product/service level, since The Company has 3 business lines, they should be differentiated to target customers and consistent to the company strategy as well.
- Ensure the correct marketing strategy, including both product aspect and marketing campaign, can support the Sales to increase profit, and make the Company more competitive in leasing market. Develop customer centric products & services, innovative campaigns and fit for target communications.
- Propose operational / business process improvements for own and other functions to achieve internal process & cost efficiency.
- Proactively look for further opportunities in leasing industry. Seek innovative solutions to overcome resource & cost constraints
- Seek support from all entities & Dealer network.
Requirement
- Major in sales, economics, finance, marketing etc., Bachelor and above.
- Previous experience (10+ years) in the Automotive or Financial Services industry is desirable.
- Dealer experience and operation experience is preferred.
- Fluent command of English.
- Previous experience in Sales and or Customer Service Management role is essential
- Previous experience in the Automotive or Financial Services industry is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to interact with a variety of people/departments at different levels internal and external.
- Has strong sense of opportunity and opportunity identification. .
