When LANDESK and HEAT Software combined in January of 2017, we knew we needed a new company name. For nearly 30 years, LANDESK and HEAT offered user-centered IT solutions designed to increase user productivity while reducing IT security risk. LANDESK was the only vendor recognized by Gartner in the four areas of client management, endpoint protection, IT service and support, and enterprise mobility management.
 
Over the years both companies changed. LANDESK acquired companies like Wavelink, Shavlik, Xtraction Solutions, and, most recently, AppSense. HEAT was created by combining FrontRange and Lumension. That's a lot of brand names. And in order to gather all these brands under one roof, we needed a new identity—and Ivanti was born. From patch and asset management to IT service delivery and security, our software is everything an organization needs to take their IT operations to the next level.
 
Position Summary:
Primary responsibilities for this position are to drive the test-driven development methodology practices in releasing high quality Ivanti software. This includes user story development, acceptance criteria and test development, execution of tests and automation scripts and tools. This individual will track, analyze, and report on defects. They will work closely with both product management to define and understand user requirements, and with software engineering teams to ensure testing and automation strategies are met.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

    Analyzing/Submitting/tracking bug and submitting test report
    Refining user requirements and acceptance criteria
    Writing test cases
    Developing test plans and test assertions
    Automation testing/scripting
    Executing the testing scripts
    May perform other job duties as directed by Manager

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Required Skills and Experience:

    4-5 years Product Testing experience
    Proven ability to install/configure multiple OS platforms including Windows, Linux, and Mac
    Proven ability to translate user based stories into use cases, and test cases.
    Proven ability to write Test Cases
    Use Defect Tracking tools
    Familiarity with the Lifecycle of defects
    Familiarity with agile development processes including SCRUM
    Ability to define user stories and product requirements
    Must have good English capabilities (written and spoken)
    Ability to follow through and meet deadlines
    Experience working in a global, multilingual organization
    Strong organizational skills with ability to handle various tasks; attention to detail
    Strong oral and written communication skills
    Must be able to work well with others as part of a team

 
Education/Licensing/Certification:

    BS or MS in Computer Science or related field of education
