职位描述：
Develop and validate weld process sheets and welding parameters for each production welding station
Develop a trough understanding of the shielding gas system, track consumption rates and coordinate gas deliveries
Monitor welding consumables. Identify and implement cost saving opportunities
Develop, conduct and coordinate welder training classes for product, support technicians
Tool and Die repair and Machine repair
Facilitate the analysis of weld coupons and provide technical assistance to the assembly areas
Develop and administer preventative maintenance program consistent with maintenance department
Ensure accurate documentation of all manual and robotic welding parameters and weld audit reports. Develop and maintain a welding reference library
Participate in training at the vocational school and work to develop in-house training needs
Ensure the communication of all welding equipment
Additional responsibilities as required – this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change
Requirements:
Engineering Degree or related
Proven experience developing weld parameters, process sheets, training modules and analysis of weld sections
Fundamental understanding of inverter based power supplies and robotic interfacing
A thorough understanding of AWS and GMAW principals
Demonstrated welding proficiency
