Job Description:
1. Support AP Procurement Manager to ensure that all procurement objectives / budgets are met including short, medium and longer term goals, and support with strategizing negotiation approach with all the suppliers to achieve the desired pricing in respective countries.
2. Identify New Suppliers for Sea & Air Freight, International Courier, Warehousing, Delivery, Reverse Logistics.
3. Prepare SOW, T&Cs, Fair value Analysis, Present to Customers, Get Approvals, Change Management Request preparation and justification, Contract in place and Supplier Management.
4. Work closely with Business Solutions, Finance and all other stake holders to achieve customer satisfaction in terms or services, rates, contract management and execution.
5. Work with AP Procurement Manager to identify and implement improvement opportunities to ensure sustained and improved Sourcing and Procurement performance.
6. Provide Business Intelligence support to Procurement Team on a regular basis – to support country objectives of sourcing best services from local / regional service providers.
7. Prepare SOW along with the user and set clear RFQ requirements, plans and objectives to achieve Procurement objectives and roleout using SRM tool and manage the RFQ using the tool.
8. Maintaining good relationship with supplier to gain support.
9. Work on assigned key projects, provide solutions and quotations for NEW customers by interacting with all the countries involved in the project.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s/ University degree in Supply Chain Management along with any Professional Certifications, such as Certified Professional in Supply Management ( CPSM ) /Chartered Institue for Purchase & Supply (CIPS) / Certified Professional Purchasing Consultant (CPPC) or any other similar certifications would be an advantage.
2. At least Eight years work experience in supplier management or sourcing and project deployment experience.
3. Experience in procurement of contract logistics services in Sea Freight / Air Freight / Warehouse and distribution is a must.
4. Ability to work in Multicultural environment and different time zones.
5. Should be able to travel as and when required at a short notice for supplier meetings, customer meetings or project management.
6. Self-motivated, team player, good communication skills.
7. Good command of oral English and written English, able to speak, read and write English fluently as applicable to a Buyer.
