Overview of the Position :

• Fulfill indirect material request from Sidel Shanghai, HK and TW

• Negotiate with suppliers for best lead time and price on agreement bases;

• Maintain and evaluate suppliers’ performance;

• Establish “super market” of indirect material database by related product category on server in order to make easier owner selecting and purchasing;

• Good communication with internal client and fulfill overall requirement on cost reduction in indirect purchases;

• RFI/RFQ, sourcing, analysis, select and contract suppliers;

• 3 quotations or bidding for indirect sourcing activities;

• Potential vendors development;

• Consolidation of suppliers in each product category;

• Cooperation between internal client and suppliers;

• Vendors data maintenance and contract management

• Analysis on spending in order to achieve cost saving and better purchase condition;

• Global and local sourcing process implementation;

• Collaborate closely with Sidel l group for travel and hotel management in greater China area

• In charge of LCM commercial parts sourcing related work in SH area

• Provide data for monthly or quarterly reporting for sourcing China and/or global sourcing;

Education & Languages : Bachelor Degree, Majored in mechanical

Professional Skills & Experience :

• Familiar with the supplier and market of facility management, MRO, capital expenditure; logistics; IT, office supplies & equipment, travel and hotel management.

• Familiar with running of manufacturing industry and thus better understand MRO needs

• Have purchasing experience and analysing skills.

• Good negotiation and problem solving skill

• Good sense of bidding, saving and contracting

• Fast learner, and service mind set.

• Fluent English and Mandarin communication skill

• At least 5 years relevant working experience in manufacturing industry
