Position: Procurement Specialist

Key responsibilities:


1.Market study

2.Identify suppliers and evaluate (including RFx) their capability from commercial and technical points of view

3.Contract negotiation

4.Plant visits

5.Expediting and QA/QC support

6.Internal and external project updates (when required)

7.Documentation support (RFx, contracts, etc.)

8.Coordinate/manage supplier and client relationships through strong personal interaction and communication

 

Requirements:

 
1.A bachelor degree or above Chemistry, Engineering, Supply Chain or related major with a minimum of 3-years work experience in fields of procurement or purchasing

2.Exposure to mining, metallurgical, or chemical industries is preferred (previous experience in Chemicals procurement is a bonus)

3.Procurement (or manufacturing) project management knowledge and skills are essential

4.Proficient in the use of computers and commonly-used business software

5.Excellent English and Mandarin both written and spoken

6.Ability to organize and present facts and arguments in a persuasive and convincing manner

7.Good research and analytical capability

8.Good communication skills and team work ethic
