Principle activities
Dealing with complaints from internal and external customers, ensure problem analysis within the scope of the quality control loop, ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions Methodically lead a interdisciplinary team to effectively and efficiently solve problems and prevent reoccurrence using 8D and other established Quality tools and methods Ensures customer claims are processed and the information is documented in a timely manner in QSYS and the respective customer portal. Opens 8D in QSYS and assigns team; enters 24 hrs response in the customer portal; checks for effectiveness and closes the 8D; uploads the information into the respective customer portal. Assure guidelines, processes and systems in DAW according to internal and external requirements, including but not limited to product-, function-, and process releases and the creation of the necessary documentation Obtain all relevant requirements and instructions from customer, including but not limited to customer relevant quality KPI’s and target agreements Participate in regular meetings with customers and visit the customer production lines to understand the impact and of internal problems on the customer processes Act as plant interface to the customer(s) and represent their interests in DAW Identify potential cost savings and implement quality continue improvement activities Maintaining efficient co-operation in partnership with all departments (e.g. logistics ,KS/VK Quality, etc.), and other plants in quality-oriented organization Assure quality testing on parts based on test plans, technical drawings, and work instructions (e.g. with regard to function, completeness, etc.), compare target/actual deviations as necessary. Record deviations and take corrective actions where required to ensure the effective inspection and timely supply rate of materials to the production Create and Coordinate complex tests and inspections Develop, plan and implement complex tests to analyze defects Assure checking the interactions of several component groups for functional reliability Specify inspection methods (e.g. inspection severity, measurement methods, measurement equipment, etc.) Introduce measures in case of quality problems Plan and conduct training within the plant Create extensive, complex series reports according to external customer requirements Prepare and evaluate information on the current status of quality-relevant production data Coordinate the creation of documentation, taking into account customer-specific guidelines Participating in the quality cost accounting and control the cost in the own area, especially including all costs of non conformities and their allocation to either external or internal causes Participate in project work in early stages to prepare and cooperate in an effective handover of processes and products to the plant. Create suggestions for inspection-friendly part design during development stages while taking previous customer complaints and requests into consideration and contributing them to the project team Be involved in all PQM/ development phase quality topics before SOP and ensure topics are transparent to plant team before handover Ensure that existing processes are supported by program files corresponding to the latest state Assure completion of weekly/ monthly performance reviews Share Lesson learn and experiences analysis within group; from sister plant and suppliers Implement other tasks requested from supervisor
Job requirements
Specialized knowledge / education: Bachelor degree or above. Work experience: At least 5 years of experience in the QS-field or car auto parts work experience. Additional knowledge: Attitude of reliability, responsibility, and team spirit Ability to work independently Ability to deal with complex issues Communication skills German or English speaking Expertise in assembly processes in the automotive wiring harness industry Familiarity with Quality tools knowledge (PPAP FEMA SPC MSA APQP) Good PFMEA knowledge and relative software, IQ-FMEA; knows how to update the PFMEA and how to give the production process the quality alert according to PFMEA. Familiarity with EHS policy and environment safety guidelines Familiarity with VDA and IATF16949 Familiarity with product process audit Familiarity with product approval processFamiliarity with quality documentation and data analysis
